P3/4 have been busy baking some lovely treats for our Community Cafe tomorrow. Come along and join us for a cup of coffee or tea and one of these lovely treats!
On Thursday 7th September some staff from Scotmid came along on a very wet lunchtime and spent time clearing some of our garden areas in front of the Primary 1 and 2 entrance. Have a look at the photographs to see what a huge difference they have made to the area. We look forward to welcoming them back to help do some planting with the children.
Thank you Scotmid!!
On Friday 3rd March, twelve pupils and three adults set off for an exciting weekend of ski-ing based at Abernethy centre, Nethybridge. They all returned having had an amazing weekend and they even had lots of snow! Huge thanks to Mrs Henderson, Miss Barker and Mrs McBirnie for making the trip possible.
A massive ‘THANK YOU’ to all who came along to Primary 2/3’s Fun Run and Toy Stall to help raise money for Water Aid. It was a fantastic opportunity to share the children’s learning and a great finale to our Water project. The event managed to raise a whopping £140 – well done Primary 2/3!
We would like to invite you to our Open Morning on Friday 2nd September. Families are welcome in school between 11.00am and 12.00noon.
We will gather in the hall for the launch of the new school website.
You will then have the opportunity to ‘Meet the Teacher’ and to find out a bit about what your child will be doing in the class over the next year. Each teacher will share information about the organisation of their class and key dates. Your child will act as tour guide of their classroom and the rest of the school. There will a quiz for you and your child to participate in based on the new school website so bring your smart phones and tablets. Teachers will be on hand to answer any general questions.
Mr Stephen Rafferty, DHT at Craigmount High School will be at the event to have a chat with the P7 parents.
Teas and coffees will be available in the hall throughout the hour.
